About us

Tipoff was established by Neil Ayton in 2008 to connect interested consumers with the spare capacity of concert promoters and other entertainment venues at the last minute via SMS text message. Tipoff set about building a fully profiled database of users to whom we could text relevant offers at the last minute.
The simple aim of the service was to get bums on seats, thereby benefiting the users, who get cheap tickets and benefiting the venue who get extra people into the gig.

Since then feedback from our initial 3000 users has been positive. People have shown a real desire for value and fun. We have also been told that they want the Tipoff concept to be applied across a range of other areas. We are back with a much expanded service offering sport, travel, food + drink and more. The underlying concept remains the same, connecting interested users with the spare capacity of our supplier at the lastminute via text message.
